【评论】<采访>扎龙女孩——繆斯·董

  Q:艺术是需要奉献的事业,没有奉献精神是万万成不了艺术家的,你是如何毅然坚守了绘画艺术这条艰辛的道路?

  A:我深深的知道,艺术之路是一项清苦的事业,但是对于成就自己的夙愿却是必须经过这种磨练的。2001年9月,我怀抱了一个更大的理想,只身来到中国美术最高学府、中国艺术家的摇篮――中央美术学院,我考取了油画系材料与表现研究生课程班,这里是继续攀登艺术高峰的新的大本营。

  Q:能谈谈你在中央美院学习的过程吗?

  A:中央美院油画材料与表现研究生班是一个旨在研究油画的新材料并将材料纳入学科性艺术教育的一个研究生班。它的目标是吸收目前国内最具潜力和已经表现出这方面素质的青年艺术家,并将他们提升到一个新的创作水平。

  班主任张元教授对我们班倾注了大量的心血,师生整日浸泡在工作室,互相启迪。我进入这个班对于我的艺术发展无疑起到了积极的作用,从材料技法的掌握到表现形式的探索再到创作思想的表达,还有艺术视野进一步得到开启。我通过一次次的反反复复实验,不断积累经验,在每一次的偶然试验中凭着艺术的直觉加以把握,逐渐形成了自己的表达语汇。

  Q:艺术道路是一条执着的精神追求之路。他总是不断地演化着自己的精神图式,并且长期遁入形式风格的探索之中。

  A:弹指一挥间,一晃十年就这样过去了。经过十年时间的奋力探索在艺术上终于初露锋芒,挤入了中国当代艺术家的行列。所有的往事化作了艺术的踪迹,演绎着人生的意义,他的艺术人生之路对于我们无疑是一个有益的启示

  在学習艺术期间,在我的艺术心智中一开始就植入了一种超越现实的精神表现意识。在以后的发展中这种意识进一步强化,并且作为自己艺术探索的目标。我的油画从古典写实风格入手,通过大量的艺术实践以及不断的尝试和选择,具有个性的语言开始浮现出来。我以生活中的感受作为自己绘画表现的对象,将对象转化为自己心灵的语言并化作一片精神的风景。

  Q:《扎龙女孩》无疑会是你这一个时期的代表作品,能多谈谈你心中的<扎龙女孩>吗?

  我将表现主义和具象主义融为一炉,将情感与形式统一于一体。那阔大、恣纵而又潇洒的笔触,那沉着、厚重而又和谐的色彩共同营造出一个巨大的精神意象并释放出慑人的视觉张力。

  而用辉煌的色彩和泼洒的笔触以及材料技法来替代。我的绘画已经脱离了对有形世界的临摹,而是对于人类精神世界的观照。看起来随意点染涂抹的画面,洋溢着大宇宙的精神和气韵生动的生命张力。我的艺术是为人生而艺术,这是我的艺术所以能不断向前推进的真正奥秘,保持心灵的真诚是他艺术创造力永不衰竭的根本原因。在油画材料班的研修无疑让我有了超越自己的条件和契机,《扎龙女孩》则是实现超越的一个标示。逐步摒弃了所有描绘性和情节性的绘画语言,“大象无形,大音稀声”、“天人合一”等东方古老的美学观、宇宙观、人生观,通过西方油画的方式,以及对色彩无拘无束的运用,演绎成为有形的视觉化艺术语言。那些由色彩和笔触肌理组成的画面,我们可以想象是令人目眩的春光咋泻或许是让人感动的冬季晴日亦或偶然临幸的雨后阳光。可以想象是孤独者遇到的一盆火;远行者看到的一盏灯。可以想象是黎明时的一片破晓;黄昏时的一道彩虹;星月夜的一点灯光。也可以想象是艺术家灵感突现的激情挥洒;观照万物时的心灵体悟。它或许可以激发你对生命的藩然领悟,可以幻化出你的如烟往事,可以触动你隐秘的心灵之弦,使你达到如梦如幻的诗意境界。

The Zhalong Girl ---- Muse Dong

  Q: The road of an artist is a very difficult path, how are you able to keep on persisting on this path?

  A: I always knew that the life of an artist would be difficult. However I was determined to choose this life. So in 2001, I came to Beijing passed the exams at the highest art institution of China, Central Academy of Fine Arts. Here, I excelled even more at my skills.

  Q: Can we discuss what you have learned from the Central Academy of Fine Arts?

  A: The graduate course of Central Academy of Fine Arts is to study new painting material into a graduate level. Its goals were to draw out the best potential in each young artist. Professor Zhang Yuan had devoted a lot of effort into our classes. Each day we soak up inspiration from each other, teachers and students alike. Entering this class undoubtedly played a positive role in my artistic development. I was able to further expand my horizon of creation; time and time again through the use of material and techniques I formed my own expression vocabulary.

   Q: The road of art is a pursuit of perseverance. An artist is always evolving their mental schema, always exploring.

  A: As if it were just yesterday when I fought into the scene. Ten years later of struggling, I have achieved a lot and finally squeezed into the high ranks of young Chinese contemporary artists. All the past turned into traces of art, an interpretation of the meaning of life. The art road is undoubtedly a useful inspiration. My paintings started from the classical realist style.Through a lot of artistic practice and persistencemy art language began to emerge. I feel like life asa painterobject are abled to be transformed into the language of their own mind, and turned into a spiritual landscape.

  Q: <The Zhalong Girl> will remain your most prized work during this period of time. Can you tell me more about being a Zhalong girl?

  A:In my way of expressionism, feeling and form are united in one. My paintings are broad, unbridled, vertical, with dashing strokes, yet calm. This creates harmonious colors portraying spiritual imagery and breathtaking visual tension release.

  Instead of brilliant color and splashed strokes through my techniques, my paintings are dream like compared to physical world, creating an escape from the real world. It looks like its so casually splattered and dotted on to the canvasbut its filled with the spirit of the universe and the vivid life tension. My art life, is a real mystery. During graduation courses, Zhalong was always in me beyond their own conditions and opportunity, the Zhalong girl. Like a lonely man in the cold who found the warm of pot of fire, once others joined in the warmth in reality came from the visitors. Like other artists, this can be an inspiration for us to gather together and rub our hands together in the pot of fire.
